MEPEASEM Ghana

Mepeasem is a fishing community located in Gonja land. The people of Mepeasem are predominantly Ewes who migrated from the Volta Region to settle in the area and engage in fishing activities. The village consists of scattered houses and has a population of a little over 100 people. Approximately 90% of the residents are Ewes, while about 5% are Fulanis. Previously, the village received a Proclaimer device donated by Theovision. However, the device is currently not functioning and has been out of use for some time. After teaching the community about the Mission Pole, the people became very enthusiastic and showed great interest in it. The leader of the community expressed his excitement, saying, “Now we will listen to the Word of God in our houses without carrying the player from house to house. This will really help spread the gospel in our village, Mepeasem.” The response from the community indicates their eagerness to embrace this new opportunity to strengthen their spiritual growth
